I used this service to head to the airport early in the morning.
I could have requested a taxi through the hotel, but I was glad I could book online for half the price.
Of course, since it was a time-specified taxi and early in the morning,
it cost about 30 euros.
I think that was the minimum necessary fee.
I'm grateful that they arrived on time and took me to the airport smoothly.
If I had to point out one area for improvement, I think it would be better for drivers to contact customers when they leave the company.
I was a little worried that morning, not knowing whether they would be picked up on time.

Nikos made everything seamless from the time we arrived on Santorini till the time we left! He was waiting for us when our ferry arrived, he had water for us in his extremely clean van, he was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. We set up a tour of Santorini for the next day. He picked us up and we went all over Santorini- including the black and red beaches, the monastery, several awesome picture locations, and we ended our day with a great wine tasting. He didn’t rush us, he answered all questions we had, he slowed down for my disabled parent while we were walking. When he dropped us off after a full day tour we felt we had seen the very best of the island! The next day he met my husband and father in law early and took them fishing like locals. They had a blast! I joined him and his wonderful wife early in the afternoon to do a flying dress shoot that was nothing short of incredible. They made the whole experience so enjoyable and I can’t recommend enough to do the flying dress shoot if you are on the fence! The next day he picked us up early in the morning and took us to the airport. He truly made our time in Santorini a first class experience!

We had a lovely day out with Nikos- we had already done the walk from Fira to Oia, so he customized a route to focus on things we hadn’t seen yet. We bought booked a six hour tour and it fit perfectly between checking out of our accommodations and being dropped off at the airport.

We had a great day exploring Santorini on a private tour with Mike. We had also used Mocanu Travel for travelling between our hotel near the airport and port. Arranging collection from Athinios Port was very easy and our ferry was tracked to ensure pick up on time.

We started small with the initial ride from the airport to the hotel. When we requested Jessica if she could help arrange a customized tour for us, she readily agreed and coordinated with all the places in Santorini.
The best part was the flexibility and customer service. For instance, it was hard for one of us to climb back the stairs from Ammoudi bay - when we asked Nikos if he could assist with a ride, he took the extra effort to make it happen though he had a hectic schedule. That was the icing on the cake for us.
And the prices were more reasonable than the hotel.

We had a hectic schedule but Nikos made sure we covered almost all tourist spots in santorini. We learned a lot about Santorini thanks to Nikos! The car was comfty and he made the tour fun! We had good meals thanks to Nikos' tips on the local restaurants. He was available for a last minute airport transfer too. Very accommodating. We had a hectic schedule but Nikos made sure we covered almost all tourist spots in santorini. We learned a lot about Santorini thanks to Nikos! The car was comfty and he made the tour fun! We had good meals thanks to Nikos' tips on the local restaurants. He was available for a last minute airport transfer too. Very accommodating. Mocanu tours organized us a custom made tour of Santorini. Traveling with a mobility disabled friend was difficult and we had concerns about exploring the island, with all the steps and narrow streets, but the organisation exceeded all expectations. We found Nikos number online while searching for a taxi to take us shopping.
Very friendly and helpful guy.
It was during this time we learned about his tour and decided to book him to show us round Santorini.
We stopped off at several amazing places and seen all the must see attractions as well as some that would be inaccessible without a car or that we didn’t know about.
It was great to have him show us around rather than us getting lost trying to find the sites on our own, he is very knowledgeable and explained so much to us about the island.
Nothing was too much for him and he even took a lot of photos for us aswell as a couple of beers and water which was very nice.
His car is a large people carrier and is very comfortable for getting around on a hot day.
We will also use him to drop us off at the airport.

They picked us up at the port, and while we were in the car, they explained various things about Santorini's wine and why its roof is blue. We were very lucky to find Nikos to make our visit to Santorini so pleasant and efficient. Nikos brought our family of 5 from Firostefani to Oia and brought us back. He recommended drop-off and pickup points and how we should visit. Because he was so friendly and effective we then asked him to help us visit Akrotiri the following morning before our afternoon ferry. He picked us up with our bags, held onto them during our visit, and then picked us up again after lunch to bring us to the ferry terminal. Without his help I don't think we would have been able to do nearly as much, nor as comfortably, during our short visit to Santorini.
Nikos spoke English very well, answered all of our questions about life in Greece and the Cyclades, and made us feel very welcome. His price was also better than prices I was quoted online or from our AirBnB host. Support a local entrepreneur by working directly with Mocanu Travel!
